The Moment of Break | Mini-film | Alina Lukianova

I liked these little inserts so much that I made them into a standalone short film.
The Moment of Break — a short cinematic vignette about frustration, pauses, and the sudden spark of inspiration.

This film shows the creative process in its rawness: empty pages, tears, anger, , a book… and then, unexpectedly, an idea.
Sometimes the breakthrough doesn’t come from pushing harder, but from stepping away for a moment.

I originally filmed these fragments for my reflective video on why we think our lives are “boring” — that one is already on the channel. But these moments felt like a story on their own, — small, intimate, everyday. I wanted to let them breathe as a mini-film, without the longer reflection around them.
