Established in 2014, Chiddy’s CheeseSteaks has grown from our food truck roots to a local storefront based, fast casual nosh spot. We launched our second truck operation in 2017 and soon after opened locations in 2018 in Farmingdale and a 4th unit in Commack, NY. Soon after the three partners came together, they began looking for their first location.
Not knowing “what they didn’t know” about the food industry and what it took to build a storefront location, in the process, they learned quickly. Of course, they hit a few bumps along the way, and they know they’ll save franchise owners from making the same mistakes and taking longer than necessary to open!
Staying true to the simplicity of the food truck concept, they decided the future development would be brick and mortar restaurant. They also know that the restaurant business is constantly changing. They stay ahead and forward thinking in everything they do. Their motto is “fail to prepare, prepare to fail”... in their opinion, failure is not an option!
