Polishing my guitars

somebody asked me for my method of cleaning and polish my guitars, so, on a cold rainy Sunday I made this video for the person (I'm so sorry, I've lost your message) and for anyone else is interested.
I change my strings between 2-3 months (less frequently now because I'm not playing so much because of the effect of the cancer treatment on my voice) but every time I change strings, I like to inspect and clean the instruments - s this little process might be done 4 to 6 times a year.
Frankly, ebony or rosewood fretboards and bridges don't "need" frequent oiling, and I don't use lemon oil all I use is the polish, which is an emulsion of some sort of oil and some sort of water based polish ... BUT ...I use a VERY SMALL amount on the old cloth dampened in the stuff and wipe it off immediately.
So here's the process :
1. remove the strings. store the pins and saddle (if removable) very carefully.
2. Usine some sort of mirror/light arrangement, have a look inside for detritus, loose cables, check the pin holes in the bridge plate and look for any hints of loose struts (although you'll probably hear such problems before you see them).
3. Clean the body and headstock with a barely damp cloth and wipe with a dry microfilbre cloth to ensure all surfaces are dry.
4. Using the polish of your choice on the body and head-stock - NOT on fretboard or bridge, and I don't put polish on the back of the neck. NOTE: Avoid any polish which may have silicone in it.
5. Wipe off all polish with a clean dry cloth - I prefer microfibre cloths - easy to get, lint free, and washable.
