The Dot Com Family (Family.Com), Written and directed by Amr Gamal. It is the first play of the Gulf of Aden troupe. It was premiered on May 5, 2005 at the Aden Nights Theater Festival. Then, in 2006, it was commercialized for two consecutive seasons, the Eid al-Fitr season and the Eid al-Adha season, on the stage of the Hurricane Cinema in Aden city.
Then, in 2007, the theatrical performances moved to Sana'a and were shown there for a third season. The total live performances of this play were 35 shows on more than one stage.
The production tells a story of an old school type father who thinks negatively of the impact of technology on the new generation. The father removes the computer from his children’s room to the living area to ensure more supervision from his end. As a result, a demonstration takes place in the living area where the children protest their father’s decision.

مسرحية عائلة دوت كوم تأليف وإخراج : عمرو جمال. هي أول مسرحية لفرقة خليج عدن، تم عرضها لأول مرة في ٥ مايو ٢٠٠٥ في مهرجان ليالي عدن المسرحية. ثم عرضت تجارياً لموسمين متتاليين عام ٢٠٠٦، موسم عيد الفطر وموسم عيد الأضحى على خشبة مسرح سينما هريكن في مدينة عدن. ثم أنتقلت عروض المسرحية بعد ذلك في العام ٢٠٠٧ إلى صنعاء وعرضت هناك لموسم ثالث. إجمالي العروض الحية لهذه المسرحية كان ٣٥ عرضاً على أكثر من خشبة مسرح. تحكي المسرحية عن أب متحفظ من جيل المكتبة يعتبر الكمبيوتر والانترنت أدوات خطيرة قد تفسد أخلاق أولاده. فيقرر إخراج الكومبيوتر من غرفة أولاده إلى الصالة ليكون استخدامهم للكمبيوتر تحت رقابته المباشرة، الأمر الذي يعتبره الأولاد إهانة وقلة ثقة فيهم، مما يجعلهم يقررون البدء باعتصام مفتوح في الصالة ليعبروا عن احتجاجهم. تتصاعد الأحداث لتصل إلى تحدي كبير بين الجيلين كل يريد أن يثبت وجهة نظره بشكل فنتازي ساخر يقودهم إلى مسابقة ضخمة جائزتها إدارة البيت للجيل الذي سيفوز بالمسابقة.
