This week’s adventure continues in the Hamlet of Seneca Falls, New York. I explore the history of Women’s rights and the American Suffrage Movement with its roots that began right in this area. I start with a tour of the home of Elizabeth Cady Stanton. From there it’s on to the Wesleyan Chapel to see the location of the First Women’s Rights Convention that occurred in 1848. I then go over to the Park’s Visitor Center to see its many exhibits and some amazing sculptures. I finish it off by stopping by the Woman’s Hall of Fame which highlights many of the heroes and leaders of the entire movement. It was certainly a historical and education visit within the National Park Service that you will want to check out! Do Come Along!!!
