In this video, my friends and I spent the day saltwater fishing in the Pacific Ocean off the Coast of Oregon! We put Sean's boat in at the ramp in Brookings, Oregon and were absolutely delighted with the quality and quantity of Rock Fish and Lingcod that we were catching! Lingcod and Rock Fish have some of the best tasting meat that I have ever tasted. We used a variety of fresh frozen baits, as well as artificial plastic lures and jigs. As a Missouri native, all of these species were alien to me! But man, did I sure love learning how to catch them! It is SOOOO exciting when a huge Lingcod smokes your lure at 100 feet deep, in the cold water of the Pacific Ocean!
