This is the method that Tamra Kilgore-Merrill of Country Craft Creations developed. I suggest that you try it to see if it will work for you!

The formula for the cardstock size is add one inch to all sides, if you are making a 4X6 mini album, you will need (2) 4X6 chipboard pieces and (2) 6X8 cardstock to cover.
For the spine, you add 1 1/2 for each side, total 3 inches, and one inch for the top and the bottom.. So if your spine is 2X6, the cardstock needs to be 5X8.
