In this video, I share how art journaling became a safe and gentle practice for me during a time of physical illness and personal loss. Through quiet creativity, I found a way to stay present, express myself without words, and return to myself when things felt heavy.
This video explores my art journaling practice, including an almost finished page, and a project I call 100 Faces — a series that helped me overcome fear around portrait painting, understand the creative process, and remain present rather than focused on outcomes. Art journaling became a place where I didn’t have to explain anything, fix anything, or be anything other than who I was.
This is not a tutorial, but a reflective art vlog about creativity as presence rather than productivity. If you’re interested in art journaling, creative healing, slow creativity, or using art as a grounding practice, I hope this video offers a quiet space to rest and reflect.
If words feel heavy right now, or if you’re moving through a tender season, you’re very welcome here.
Thank you for spending this time with me. ♥
