Lichfield City is in the county of Staffordshire. The city is well known for its three spired cathedral, the writer Samuel Johnson and Erasmus Darwin who was a scientest and inventor.
As a small city, it is easy to get around on foot. Lichfield has two stations, the city station which is served by trains from Birmingham, and Trent Valley, which is on the West Coast Mainline. I traveled by car and used the long-stay parking at the Friary.
