Nightreign - Everdark Caligo Close Call

Boy was this a fun way to clutch it out; you can tell it's been so long since I've played Elden Ring that I have no idea how to line up jump attacks lol

Voices are myself, two friends and another friend watching.
This is the tail end of a rough run that struggled through with desperate 3-bar revives, Jar Cannon potshots and GET BACK HERE YOU FLYING STALLING TIMEWASTER (and then the relics we got were trash; at least the special one from the shop is interesting)

Have been having a good time with Nightreign for the most part; a lot of the fromsoft enemy design I'm sour about but a lot of cool character skills and minor touches that I'm very on board with. Really hoping some of this stuff comes back for the next mainline game, especially things like every weapon having 100% phys negation on guard

I strongly recommend either enormous damage to bruteforce her or all the frostbite res you can get from the Mountaintop shifting earth; the breakable armor is pretty cool but otherwise this boss STINKS because of the frostbite stagger/dps check, bad ranged lockon, wacky mist hitboxes and not having the normal version's DM that gives everyone time to regroup

EDIT: I've really warmed up to this boss after fighting her some more; the map-wide frost has some wacky behavior like not triggering if you ult through it so even characters that don't have staggering ults can still waive it, plus you can oddly cancel the frost damage by priming your ult right as it's about to trigger. Don't strictly have to bank on rolling through the weird breath visuals when you know how to position around them too! Beautiful music and one of my favorite fights now overall. Still wish it had more of the original fight's stuff though
