This isn’t your modern, flashy takeaway – this place feels like it’s been frozen in time, with a real 1970s–1980s curry house atmosphere. One small room, big flavours, and even bigger heart.

The chef here has been in the takeaway game for over 40 years. He lives, breathes, and sleeps cooking – this isn’t just a job, it’s pure passion. The food he’s been serving the local community for decades is, without doubt, some of the best you’ll find in the North East.

From proper curries to kebabs, samosas, burgers, and doner, this place does it all. On top of that, everything is made fresh – naans, chapatis, rotis, and now even fresh parathas, which he’s just started doing. Simple, honest food made the right way.
