A beautiful solo mountain day in the Carneddau, climbing the Crib Lem Spur in clear, sunny conditions before summiting Carnedd Dafydd, Carnedd Llewelyn and Yr Elen.
Although it was winter, the route was largely snow-free, making for perfect underfoot conditions and incredible visibility. Crib Lem Spur provided a steep, hands-on and wonderfully quiet ascent onto the Carneddau, followed by long ridges and expansive views across Snowdonia under blue skies.
