Krithi: Entha Vedukondu O Raghava
Ragam: Saraswathi Manohari
Thalam: Adi
Composer: Thyagaraja
Vocal: T V Sankaranarayanan
Sankaranarayanan was born in Mayiladuturai of Thanjavur district in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu on 7th March 1945. His father, Vembu Iyer, was a disciple of vocalist Madurai Mani Iyer; his mother was Mani Iyer's sister. At age nine, he started learning music from his uncle. Sankaranarayanan also learned from his father. He made his debut on the concert platform in 1968 and then gradually established himself as a Carnatic vocalist. He has performed in India and abroad. He was particularly noted for easily reaching the upper notes. TVS was awarded the Madras Music Academy's Sangeetha Kalanidhi in 2003. His music was an unreserved waterfall. It kept pouring down with no drought in sight. Much like how we cannot track the trajectory of every falling droplet, never knew how his raga passages or swara torrents would move. On 2nd September 2022, we lost one of its most graceful musicians.

Meaning:
Oh Raghava, how long should I implore for your grace? Why are your so adamant?
Why do you exhibit such indifferent in assuaging my agony? Oh Rama, you are always in my conscience.
I feel hapy to keep keep you in my mind. In fact, I am overwhelmed with such happiness. I strongly believe that your power is omnipresent. Oh emperor Rama, you are worshipped by Thyagaraja.
