Born in Akron, Ohio, and known professionally as The Real Life Coach22, Matthew J. Stevens turned an early fascination with psychology and personal growth into a path of recovery after surviving childhood abuse.
That journey led Matthew into human services, where he worked with foster children, young people with complex trauma, and residential treatment programmes across the United States.
Over time, he became a certified resilience and trauma practitioner, founded his own mentoring organisation, and later transitioned into life coaching. Today, he combines emotional intelligence and practical coaching strategies to help people regain control of their lives and move forward with purpose.
