I've been a hand letterer my whole life but it wasn't until about six years ago when I began art journaling that I finally realized why I've always been obsessed with hand lettering. Everything was leading me up to this point where I would use my years of hand lettering obsession to do something with it that I loved: art journaling! The key was learning that I didn't have to be all perfectionistic about it. But I did still need to practice all of the good lettering principles that I had picked up over a lifetime!
