TSB Promo: Sweet Carolina V1

Created by Chad608. Organized in 1873, the P&P was built to facilitate a connection between the Upstate of South Carolina and the vast Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. The line was originally built encompassing a line from Pleasantville to Thatcher until 1888 when the road built the line from Thatcher to Beaconsville. Until 1892, the majority of the railway's shares were bought out by the Richmond and Danville Railroad. Due to the consolidation of the railroads in 1894, the former P&P was officially taken over by the Southern Railway and its vast systems.
Phase I of Sweet Carolina encompasses a little over 25 miles of the former P&P Mainline & Atlantic Coast Line of East Pleasantville.
