It’s fun trying out new projects. Check out how I successfully transformed this old top into a fit and flare dress in no time.
All you need is an old or any blouse, some fabric(2 yards ) some matching threads, a pair of scissors , a piece of chalk and your tape measure .
First determine the top length and how long you want you dress to be. This will enable you know length length of fabric needed.
Make your Gather stitches by adjusting the stitch setting in your sewing machine and next run two stitches across width of fabric and pull gently.
Place the gathered fabric against the width of top to make sure the fit and are equal then start sewing. Don’t forget to adjust stitches systemically as you see to create perfect even ruching.
Close the sides and hem the bottom of your dress and you are done!✅
