Perhaps the second most popular paddle in Bankhead is the 8 mile route from the Brushy Lake Recreation Area to the take out spot at Hickory Grove Road. This video covers the sights and sounds along the way, from lots of class 1 and a few class 2 rapids, to waterfalls (nice one @6:00) and wildflowers. Easily done in a day paddle, we made an overnight trip out of this, camping near Sougahoagdee Falls (@18:00), a stretch of Brushy that's very rich with waterfalls.

About the "Exploring..." videos:
--------------------
I want you hear the rush of the water, the swaying of branches, bird songs, the crunch beneath each step. Those things provide far more information than long form narration could ever provide. I post detailed write-ups on my blog: http://www.weathermansam.wordpress.com
