Fully Accelerated Paramotor Collapse Analysis (Reserve Throw)

Whilst flying during the British Open Paramotor Championships 2024 I took an asymmetric collapse whilst fully accelerated with my hands off the controls. I was flying at 1600ft when the collapse occurred. Flying at a sensible height was the ultimate saving grace of this incident. The collapse resulted in a reserve throw. In this video I will give my initial thoughts after the incident, a full analysis of why it happened, what happened after the incident and my advice to fellow pilots.
