In this step-by-step tutorial, learn how to make a personalized T-shirt, starting from raw fabric and ending with a wearable shirt. You'll build your serger sewing skills by learning techniques such as how attach a neckline that doesn't gape or droop, and how to serge uneven curves in sleeves.

If you are already experienced with a serger and knit fabrics, this video shows you techniques that go beyond the basics. We'll make a deluxe T-shirt with fashion details such as pockets, facings, and a tape-bound neckline. You'll learn secrets to press, stabilize, and stitch these difficult fashion details in stretchy fabrics to get a professional-looking result. You'll even learn techniques for your conventional sewing machine!
