Join me on my first Mt LeConte experience via the "Alum Cave Trail". This video features an ASMR hike and Vlog feel. The hike begins with your first target spot at 1.3 mi | Arch Rock |. This beautiful formation features a set of stairs that fully immerse you into the magic and wonder of this trail. Next you will reach a magnificent lookout spot known as Inspiration Point. Be sure to look for the structure known as | Eye Of The Needle |. At 2.3 mi into the trip you will reach the end of the journey for most visitors of the trail | Alum Cave|. The next portion, you will notice, is a lot less traveled. The famous | LeConte Lodge | will be your next target along the trail at 5.1 mi. I chose to save the lodge for my last target in order to enjoy a nice and rewarding cup of coffee by "Baba Java". Next along the trail we will reach | Cliff Tops | at roughly 6.0 mi. Personally this was my fav spot of the "Alum Cave Trail" and maybe even my fav hiking destination yet. From here you can keep right along the ridge and be on the lookout for the LeConte Shelter which is just off trail as you make your way towards | Myrtle Pointe |. Approximately 1 - 1.3 mi from Cliff Tops. Be sure to checkout the Lodge and take in all of the energy it gives off. Enjoy a snack and refuel for your trip back down. Roundtrip was roughly 12.5 - 13 miles. My main suggestion would be to get to the trail head early and bring plenty of water. Thank you for hiking with me!
