SOLDIER is not just the name of Shinras super soldiers. SOLDIER to Cloud, Zack, and Angeal means something much more. It is an Oath to embracing your dreams and honor. Knights tend to have Oaths and Knights of the Round does not have much lore surrounding it. Here is my Theory for how in Final Fantasy 7s next remake game can fill in that lore in an exciting new way.
