Don’t make this very COMMON mistake ☝🏽
If you want to walk longer distances, the answer isn’t more walking.
When I’m talking to someone looking to improve their ability to walk a certain distance, I always ask- what other exercise routines are you doing? 👀
If the answer is “I’m primarily walking with a few different stretches”. This could be why they aren’t able to unlock distance ☝🏽 This is a common scenario.
The key to unlocking distance is first building muscle strength on all sides of the joints- especially the knee, hip and ankle 🙌🏼
This includes moving in different directions and challenging the muscles in new ways 😇
It doesn’t have to be complicated. Your body needs variety ✅
Setting a timer for 60 seconds allows this exercise to adapt to specific fitness levels. ⏰
Increase the difficulty by going faster. Decrease the difficulty by going slow and adding upper body support if needed ⚠️
