Welcome back to the channel. Today we’re doing a private pilot mock checkride where the student does really well overall. They clearly have the knowledge, but you’ll notice hesitation and second guessing. That hesitation can hurt you on a real checkride.

A DPE can sense when you’re unsure. If you start second guessing yourself, they’ll dig deeper, and that’s when small gaps in confidence start to show. The fix is simple. Real confidence comes from understanding, not memorizing. When you know why something works, your answers flow naturally and your tone tells the examiner you’re in control.
