Ingredients:
Urad dal - 500 gram (2.5 cup)
White rice - 1/2 cup
Instant medu vada with homemade premix :
Premix powder - 1 cup
Water - 1 cup + 1-2 tbsp (add gradually)
Salt - 3/4 tsp
Crushed black pepper - 1/2 tsp
Ginger - 1 tsp, finely chopped
Green chilly - 1-2 , finely chopped
Curry leaves - 1 tbsp, finely chopped
Oil for deep fry
Serve medu vada with sambar or chutney
Instant dahi vada with homemade premix
Premix powder - 1 cup
Water - 1 cup + 2-3 tbsp (add gradually)
Salt - 3/4 tsp
Crushed black pepper - 1/4 tsp
Cashewnut - 1 tbsp, chopped
Raisins (kishmish) - 1 tbsp, chopped
Oil for deep frying
Serve instant dahi vada with homemade premix with sweet dahi, sprinkle chilly powder, roasted cumin powder, green chutney, sweet imli chutney, sev, chopped coriander leaves.
