Easy LOCKING TUNING guitar setup that I use (without locking tuners).

While locking tuners are great, they're not necessarily essential. Throw away the old "wrap around twice and then through" method. This one actually works, it's free (hallelujah!), and it works like a champ. I personally use this with solid confident tuning, and I thought it was one of those overlooked but very vital things to pass on.
Side note: in an effort to bring better quality videos to the table, I just recently bought a new camera (a Canon G7X mkII), and the image quality has been amazing and so worth it. However, in my excitement to roll out my first video (since purchasing it), I completely forgot and left the ceiling fan running, and it picked up in the original audio... so I kinda threw together a new song to hide my goof up. I named it "Hit the Fan," appropriately. Rookie mistake. Doh.
For recording the song tracks, I used my Boss Katana 100W for all the amplification, EZ Drummer for drums, my Schecter Banshee Extreme for crunch rhythm, an Ibanez bass, a new Yamaha APX600 for backing acoustic, my Fender Special Edition telecaster for lead tracks, and all of it was run through Studio One. As far as the Boss Katana amp settings, I ran my version of a Marshall '59 with reverb, delay, and the onboard tube screamer (with gain setting backed down to zero when activated).
A bunch more videos and ideas are on the way. Thanks for watching, and thanks to my subscribers and to those of you who are on the guitar journey. You're the reason I do this.
