Miltonidium / Oncidopsis Bartley Schwarz Beall: cultivation and reblooming of an easy scented orchid

Miltonidium / Oncidopsis Bartley Schwarz Beall is an orchid that stands out in my collection for many reasons, as I explained in the video, but also stands out in my collection because it is one of the few orchids in the Oncidium alliance that I have still surviving at home: unfortunately many Oncidiums and relatives (especially Miltoniopsis, but also Brassias on some occasions) are not the easiest orchids to grow, as they hate hot temperature and need a humid environment, and are not very forgiving if regular watering is not achieved e.g. during holidays, so I lost several of these orchids throughout the years: however, I found this variety one of the easiest to grow, very adaptable in a variety of situations, and also OK to grow in semi-hydro (a culture system that many Oncidiums and relatives do not really enjoy due to humidity fluctuations of the medium throughout the different layers), so if you are looking for an easy Oncidium hybrid, this is definitely one for you!!! In this video I discuss how I care for this wonderful orchids, as well as how it rebloomed throughout the years and of course about its fragrance (all my subscribers know how much I love scented flowers).
