Gypsy violinist Elek Bacsik was one of the immersed and fascinated by bebop, especially Charlie Parker and Daisy Gillespie.
This album brought to life some of Parker and Gillespie's defining performance in the 1970s. some of the most powerful and quintessential bop numbers, and released on Flying Dutchman Records, founded by Bob Thiele, who was also known as a songwriter.
