Hands-on Review + Real Test Footage of the New Nikon ZR (RED) Cinema Camera.
After picking up the brand-new Nikon ZR in Tokyo, I travelled to the Great Wall of China to put this cinema camera through a proper real-world test. This video includes my first impressions, colour performance, autofocus behaviour, and a few unexpected guests…
(Yes — the cats showed up and fully stole the spotlight.)
My early thoughts?
The Nikon ZR spits out an incredible image. This review is completely independent — not sponsored, not paid, and no contact with Nikon.
Lens used: Nikon 24-70mm f.4
Minimal grading in Davinchi Resolve to convert from LOG. I actually used an ARRI LUT here.
