Robins in a Christmas Tree - Whimsical Watercolor Doodles and Birds for a Retro Holiday Card or Gift

Inspired by a 1950s design by Andy Warhol, this simple doodle and wash tree filled to the brim with robins and all things Christmassy is easy to do and so relaxing. You can fill it with whatever takes your fancy and make it yours, have different colored birds and decorations, whatever you please. So let’s get doodling!

Materials...
Fabriano hot pressed 140lb watercolor paper (or any paper will be fine) but hot pressed is smoother and so easier to draw on.
Assorted watercolor paints in greens, reds and golds. Or use a gold gel pen.
Pigma Micron fine liner in size 0.3 approximately. Make sure your pen is waterproof.
Colored card for backing the card if desired.
Adhesive tape or glue.
