On August 20th, 1966, two Brazilian electronics technicians were found dead on a hillside outside Rio de Janeiro. Dressed in suits, raincoats folded neatly beside them, and strange lead masks covering their eyes, the scene looked more like ritual than reality.

Near the bodies was a notebook with cryptic instructions:
“16:30 be at the determined place.
18:30 ingest capsules.
After effect protect metals, await signal mask.”

No cause of death was ever found. No capsules were ever recovered. Nearly six decades later, the mystery still haunts investigators.
