২০২৫ সাল- বাংলাদেশের ইতিহাসে এক ব্যাপক আলোচিত এবং অনেক ক্ষেত্রেই বিতর্কিত সময়। মানবাধিকার সংস্কৃতি ফাউন্ডেশন বা এমএসএফ এর তথ্য বলছে, গেলো এক বছরে দেশজুড়ে মব তৈরি করে পিটিয়ে হত্যার হার বেড়েছে প্রায় তিনগুণ। ২০২৪ সালে যেখানে নিহতের সংখ্যা ছিলো ১২৬, ২০২৫ সালে তা দাঁড়িয়েছে ৪৬০ এ। আর এতে করে মানবাধিকার কর্মীরা একে স্রেফ অপরাধ নয়, বরং বিচার ব্যবস্থার প্রতি মানুষের চরম অনাস্থার প্রতিফলন হিসেবে দেখছেন।


The year 2025 is a widely discussed and in many cases controversial period in the history of Bangladesh. According to the Human Rights Culture Foundation or MSF, the rate of mob lynchings across the country has increased almost threefold in the past year. While the number of deaths was 126 in 2024, it has risen to 460 in 2025. And this is why human rights activists see it not just as a crime, but as a reflection of people's extreme distrust in the justice system.
