1968 Chrysler Imperial 440! Sandhills Auction Buy Revival

My buddy Grant was nice enough to go with me up to the Pine Ridge Reservation where I bought this 1968 Chrysler Imperial 4 door hardtop off of an auction. We headed to a ranch just north of the Nebraska border in South Dakota, where several classics sold a couple weeks prior. The ranch was about half mile down a minimum maintenance road in what most people would call "BFE".

Much to my surprise, we were excited to find a well preserved old Mopar with plates from 1993. I was even more shocked when we learned that it could be driven (although not very nicely) onto the trailer. After talking with the fella about some other cars that were going to be available soon, we made our way back southeast to Grant's family's cattle ranch in the beautiful Sandhills of Nebraska.

Once I got home, I really got to get a good look at the car, which was something that I hadn't got to do yet. What I found was a massive old luxury land yacht that was obviously well cared for in a previous life.

In this video, I talk in some detail about the car, its options, the condition, and what exactly I needed to do to it to get it to operate like it did while in the care of its previous owner. I think old Larry would be happy to know his Imperial is on the road again.
