Amazing Grace harmonies!!! You will hear Amazing Grace played one time as a solo. Then, for the second round, you will hear the melody played by 4 pipers (all me). Thirdly you will hear the tune played with harmonies, and finally, the last line played again as a solo. I think this gives a great effect for this popular tune.
Every part of this video is me playing. I had to record Amazing Grace for what felt like 100 times and then layer the audio. This was tricky because I couldn't see or hear any of the other recordings while playing each part, it was just me and my metronome. I may have gotten carried away a bit, but I was having fun.
I have wanted to try this for a while and I finally had the time to do it. It came out better than expected but it isn't perfect. I am sharing because it is something new and fun. If I do a tune with harmonies in the future, I may try it a little differently to try and get it sounding better/more together.
