The True Cost Of Owning A Porsche 993: How Much I Spent On Repairs Right After Buying It.

The cost of owning a 993 911 isn't cheap, especially right after you buy one, even if it's a nice example. In my experience you should set aside 10% - 20% of the purchase price of ANY air cooled Porsche for repairs, deferred maintenance and elective modifications...and hope you don't have to spend it!

Thankfully, I'm well aware of the cost of owning a 993 and for me, the experience of owning, driving and ultimately enjoying the last of the air cooled 911's makes it totally worth it.
