This LP Special comes dressed in all black with a bad attitude to match! This one has a lot of give in the attack, so you can really make the bottom end growl and the upper-mids snarl when you dig in. The bridge pickup is tight, focused, and full of midrange punch, so it's perfect for crunchy, power-chord rock rhythms and aggressive blues. The neck pickup has a fatter sound, but it also retains a snarling quality in the high-end, so it cuts through a mix like a lightsaber. I could probably make up riffs on this guitar all day long--it just has the sort of aggressive sonic profile that encourages creative rock and roll rhythm guitar playing. I also wouldn't put it past me to sit and play a two hour-long solo on this guitar, because it has a cutting lead tone that I find endlessly inspiring (my roommate will tell you that I'm not kidding about the two-hour solos). Anyone seeking a raw rock machine will love this serial!
