This is not just a drive… THIS IS A STATEMENT.
TB to last trail….
The demons were fighting me since the last time we did this trail. Since the transmission broke the plan was to go back and complete the trail. We fixed the transmission then was a retune with some more parts.
Then night before the run we heard a knock… like WTF…
7pm @ameer_27 left new grant a 2 hr drive to scrap out the complete bottom of the engine and @harrysautovintage, Ameer and myself started and swapped out rod bearings. Topped up @mobil1tt oil Sunday morning swapped tires and was action.
But the demons didn’t stop there. The hilux was dipping badly in power when shifted into second gear.
We made it out and complete the trail in 3hrs time and drove back and waited for Dean Wheels to attempt the trail…..
All in all a great day and we live to fight another day.
