This is an Ancient Abandoned Stone Mine literally right next to my house.

Binstead Quarry is an ancient abandoned stone mine that is almost 1,000 years old and has been abandoned for the last century. Stone from the quarry was used to build the nearby Quarr Abbey as well as other notable landmarks such as Winchster Cathedral and the Tower of London. Stone from the mine was also used to construct huge numbers of walls and houses throughout the town and neighbouring towns around the island.
