From a 2015 clinic, Mark Russell playing with a student's thoroughbred horse who had become defensive and difficult to ride. The student had set him aside for about a year due to the troubles they were having. In this short video shot at the end of a clinic day Mark created relaxation and softness and has revealed how connected he can be. Although not strong at this point, and with some hiccups in the ride, the horse is completely with Mark. The joy of riding a horse this connected is immeasurable.
