2022 Range Rover Sport | First Drive Review | evo India

The third generation Range Rover Sport is in India and we have tested it. It's underpinned by the same MLA-Flex platform as the full-size Range Rover and gets a petrol as well as diesel engine. We have tested the P400 turbo-charged 6-cylinder petrol in the Dynamic HSE trim costing Rs 1.68 crore with a further Rs 11 lakh worth of accessories on this test car. With a sophisticated platform the new SUV definitely does justice to the Sport in the name but editor Sirish Chandran found out the Electronic Stability Program to be very intrusive while driving it fast through corners. And it does not get the 48-volt active anti-roll bars or four-wheel steering from the bigger Range Rover which further limits its dynamics while the 22-inch wheels does deliver a firm ride.
