After spending a frustrating amount of time searching for my "ultimate" navigation light system for my R/C airplanes, I finally took the plunge into learning how to wire and program the small, 8-bit, Atmel AVR microcontroller IC chips via the Arduino programming IDE.
Here I finally have my "finished" project installed and functioning in my Sig Kadet Senior ARF model, converted to the "Sport" (tail-dragger) model.
After making my maiden flight hours earlier at sunset, I brought my project back out to the lake to document what the project looks like in a moon-less, dark setting over Benton Lake.
David is my inspiration and the source for my "straw hat" 1/2W LEDs.
