En este cuarto diario de procesos comparto cómo, al reorganizar el catálogo de cabezas disponibles, surgió la necesidad de revisar algunas máscaras que no permiten ver hacia afuera.
Entre ellas apareció el rinoceronte, una de las primeras que hice, y que en este video transformo.
Además de mostrar el proceso técnico, abro algunas preguntas que me acompañan mientras trabajo: ¿qué hace que una pieza siga viva?, ¿cuándo vale la pena intervenirla?
Este video es una invitación a entrar al taller, pero también a mirar desde adentro.
In this fourth process diary, I share how, while reorganizing the catalog of available heads, I felt the need to revisit some masks that don’t allow visibility from the inside.
Among them was the rhinoceros—one of the first heads I ever made—which I transform in this video.
Beyond the technical process, I open up some of the questions that accompany me as I work: What keeps a piece alive? When is it worth intervening?
This video is an invitation to step into the workshop, but also to look from within.
