“10/8 Ebru Glitch” is an intersection of Ebru (Turkish water marbling art), Turkish music elements, and glitch aesthetics. A link exists between Ebru and glitch art: randomness and unpredictable errors. Once the paint leaves the brush, the result is out of your hands. A tiny speck of dust in the water shows up as a defect on the paper, mirroring the essence of a glitch.
“10/8 Ebru Glitch” is a journey from organic tradition to digital glitch art. In this process, the distinctive 10/8 rhythm of Turkish music serves as the project's structural heartbeat, bridging traditional motifs with electronic textures.
Ultimately, this work proves that tradition and glitch art can coexist and do not need to be in opposition.
