About the OTI Initiative:
Therapeutic inertia is defined as a delay to initiate or intensify therapy when appropriate to do so. It has been identified as a significant contributor to poor diabetes outcomes globally.
Through the OTI initiative, the ADA is ushering in a paradigm shift in the care of type 2 diabetes, advancing the latest thought-leadership, resources, and tools in overcoming therapeutic inertia for primary care.
