The Philippines is known for it's breathtaking nature, beautiful culture, friendly people, and it's genuine hospitality. However, beneath this beautiful exterior lies a reality that cannot be ignored: the severe poverty in Manila. With over 40% of the city's 23 million residents living in slums, the conditions they endure are among the most challenging in the world.

In this episode, I venture deep into the heart of Manila's largest and most impoverished slum called Tondo.
