Had this video hidden in the vault that I am bringing to light. This video is 6 years old. I added 13" x 13" x 2" pieces of wood to the base of my 4 post lift, lifting it an extra 4 inches off the ground. I cut 2 pieces per leg and screwed them together so they wont shift. The reason for doing so is because in the winter when I drive my daily underneath it, i don't want salt or water rusting out the base of the lift. 6 years later it is still going strong. No stability issues, nothing has shifted, and the base of the lift still looks like new with no rust on it after 6 years of all nature's elements. I also shot the base with rust proofing to preserve it.
