그런 때가 있다. 내 안의 소리가 아우성칠 때.
나는 내 소리로 귀가 먹을 것 같은데 입 밖으로는 어떠한 소리도 낼 수 없는 상태.
마치 누가 내 입을 막은 것처럼 말이다.

이 세상 누구보다 날 의심하는 건 나 자신이 될 수밖에 없다.
그렇지만 누구보다 날 이해하고 믿어주는 것 또한 나 자신이 될 수밖에 없다
삶은 비로소 내 안에 있는 소리를 세상 밖으로 내뱉고,
나와 같은 사람들을 찾아 나서는 여정 같은 게 아닐까.

비록 그 여정이 뼈저리게 아프고 날 다치게 할지라도, 목소리가 찢어지게 소리 지름에도 돌아오지 않는 메아리라고 하더라도, 나는 나와 같은 사람들을 기필코 찾아내고 서로 끌어안고 따뜻할 것이다.

There are times when the voice inside me screams.
I feel like my ears are deafened by my own thoughts, yet I can’t make a sound.
It’s as if someone has sealed my mouth shut.

The person who doubts me the most in this world is none other than myself.
Yet, the one who understands and believes in me more than anyone else must also be myself.
Life, perhaps, is a journey of bringing the voice within me out into the world,
seeking out others who resonate with it.

Even if that journey is excruciatingly painful, leaving me wounded,
even if my voice shatters into desperate cries that return as silence,
I will relentlessly search for those who are like me.
And when we find each other, we will embrace, warming one another with shared understanding.
