The Incredible Hulk (1977–1982) After a laboratory accident exposes him to gamma radiation, physician and scientist David Banner transforms into a superhumanly strong, green-skinned creature whenever he becomes angry or stressed. Presumed dead after the accident, Banner travels across the country, working temporary jobs and helping people in need while searching for a cure for his condition and evading a tabloid reporter who is relentlessly pursuing him.
