"BOYS FOR PELE" 21st Anniversary Tribute: Live @ The Creative Alliance, Baltimore, 3/11/2017

Tori Amos fans rejoice!

Baltimore pianist/singer/composer Lauren Aycock Anderson and friends assemble for one night to perform the critically-acclaimed album, Boys for Pele, from start to finish. With the release of Boys for Pele in 1996, thousands of young people learned new ways to express strength, femininity, anger, self-reflection, loss, and yearning. The album became a place to hide, mourn, heal, and resurface empowered.

Erica Patoka (synth and organ),
Melody Easton (bass),
Brandt Cooley (guitar),
Rich Schaefer (percussion).

This show not only contributed to the fabulous Creative Alliance which supports and promotes artists of diverse backgrounds and cultures right here in Baltimore, but also to Tori's beloved RAINN.

RAINN (Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. The performers have committed to donate a portion of their earnings from the show to RAINN.
