Tropical Skies.
A warm region where tall forest, wide rivers, palm belts, and dry ridges share the same bright air. Morning mist rises from river channels, clay banks take the first light, and the canopy opens in brief windows above the water. Small changes appear quietly: a single call drifting across a channel, wings slipping through a narrow gap, or two birds dropping toward a fruiting crown.
To the north, lowlands stay flooded for months.
To the west, the first Andean foothills lift the forest into cooler layers.
Across the central basin, tall continuous canopy holds long corridors of shade.
And in the south, dry scrub and open woodland break the forest into scattered patches.
Through these shifting landscapes, macaws use every height and opening the forest allows — gliding low over rivers, rising above emergent crowns, and crossing wide clearings in bright, steady light.
